Can you believe it? We are almost half way through the year already and I am still trying to get over the Christmas break.
This edition has plenty to keep you occupied with some fantastic news from many of our community organisations and also a couple of great feature articles.
A huge thank you to Francis Keane – our front cover story – for sharing his story about his amazing Kokoda Track trek. It is certainly inspiring to think that even when we are retired, we can still challenge ourselves to do more.
I must also thank all the people who entered our book giveaway competition. We had more entries from all around the north coast than we have ever had before. It is great to see that we have so many avid readers.
